Description of the role:
Hueston Woods Lodge & Conference Center is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician - Evening Shift - Full Time to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the overall functionality and appearance of our facility.
Responsibilities:
- Performing routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs
- Inspecting and maintaining equipment and machinery
- Responding to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Coordinating with other departments to address maintenance needs
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and protocols
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance performed
- Handle general room calls related to lights, plumbing, heating/cooling, televisions, etc.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment and machinery
- Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items as needed
- Must be able to work evening shift, weekends and holidays
