What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cook position at Huggin' Molly's?
Summary: To make sure we are preparing Items to Huggin’ Molly’s Specs in a safe manner
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Set up grill area.
- Ensure that the steam table is on and functioning properly.
- Grill Hamburgers according to the zone cooking method.
- Ensure that products are stocked and ready for service.
- Prepare all specialty items for quick and efficient service.
- Check for all items daily to ensure kitchen is properly stocked.
- Ensure all utensils are ready for service.
- Communicate with front of the house about any product that needs restocking.
- Prepare a daily prep sheet and leave on your station so product can be pulled.
- Keep station clean at all times.
- Ensure proper communication with the front of the house concerning the specials for that day.
- Keep service area clean and stock as needed.
- Perform food temperature checks as needed and record on Temp. Log.
- At the end of the shift, refer to daily, weekly & restocking schedule and assist others as needed.
Education and/or Experience:
- Minimum high school education or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of restaurant experience required.
