Cybersecurity Analyst

Job Summary:

To function as team member to assist members, staff, and third parties with general aspects of cybersecurity risk mitigation for the credit union.  Assist in ITGRC, security system monitoring, and analysis of potential threats and vulnerabilities.  Assist with vendor management and incident response programs.  Participate and help facilitate business continuity (BCP) and disaster recovery (DRP) plans.  Assist in cybersecurity training and awareness programs.  Assist in identifying and responding to security breaches

Salary Range: $59K-72K/year DOE

Location: 971 W Wetmore, Tucson, AZ  - This is not a remote position.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Assist in the oversight of information technology governance, risk, and compliance (ITGRC).

• Monitor information security systems and the analysis of potential threats and vulnerabilities.

• Assist with the development of policies, procedures, and processes for the governance of IT and security.

• Assist in the execution of the vendor management program.

• Assist in the execution of the incident response program.

• Participate and help facilitate the business continuity (BCP) and disaster recovery (DRP) plans.

• Assist in the administration of the corporate-wide information security training and awareness program.

• Assist in the preparation, support, and remediation for audits, compliance reviews, and federal exams.

• Participate in the monitoring of in-place security solutions.

• Assist in identifying, investigating, and resolving security breaches detected by installed systems.

Preferred Skills:

  • Minimum of 6 months of similar or related experience. 
  • Understanding of IT Security/Governance practices and methodologies and their execution
  • A bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, IT Security or related major, or equivalent work experience preferred.
