The Work Services Laundry Manager is responsible for the management and daily operations of the laundry.
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Rehabilitation Services Program Manager
POSITIONS SUPERVISED: Laundry Job Coaches
BASIC DUTIES:
1. Schedules laundry Job Coaches and consumer workers to ensure completion of contracts in a
timely manner
2. Coordinates job sites laundry pick-up, processing and delivery times in compliance with
Laundry contracts
3. Addresses customer complaints and follow-up to resolve any issues
4. Ensures completion of daily logs and shipping paperwork
5. Ensures product quality during processing
6. Creates, maintains and updates training manuals
7. Participates in Behavior Management Committee meetings
8. Provides support, direction and guidance and daily supervision to program staff to assure
completion of work assignments.
9. Provides direct job coaching to consumer workers daily
10. Oversees laundry contracts and updates finance department as needed regarding rate
changes
11. Oversees the transition off of 14c for consumer laundry workers
.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Ability to follow verbal and /or written instructions.
3. Valid driver’s license and able to drive agency owned vehicles.
4. Ability to relate positively to persons with disabilities.
5. Demonstrate good worker role model for laundry workers.
6. Ability to maintain data/records for job site/contract.
7. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with persons supervised and provides the on-the-job training.
8. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
9. Ability to operate laundry equipment.
10. Ability to work flexible hours.
11. First Aid/CPR Certification, or ability to obtain
12. CLLM certification, or ability to obtain within 9 months of hire.
13. DSP certification, or ability to complete training program
14. Must be able to pass background checks
PAY GRADE LEVEL: IV-V
EXEMPT/NON-EXEMPT STATUS: Non-Exempt
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Stand, walk, and sit 41-75% of the time.

1. Blood Borne Pathogens: This job may involve exposure to blood borne pathogens. Universal precautions are required.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
