Veterinary Receiving Clinic Technician
We are on a mission to promote the welfare of animals and to improve the lives of animals both in the shelter and throughout our community.
How does the Receiving Clinic Technician help achieve this mission?
- The Receiving Clinic Technician works with other members of the Receiving and Veterinary Team to intake animals as they come into the shelter. This position examines and vaccinates animals upon intake and provides medical support during their time at the shelter.
What qualifications does a candidate for Receiving Clinic Technician need to be considered?
- You must be comfortable handling animals and have basic knowledge of animal behavior.
- You must be willing to administer vaccines and to learn basic laboratory testing procedures.
- You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with many moving parts.
- You must have a passion to save lives and see animals placed in their forever homes!
