Humani HR is a boutique Human Resources Management Consulting firm that serves fast-growing start-ups and SMEs. We act as a Fractional HR Partner to many of our clients. We are also engaged by our clients to complete projects of all sizes and complexities, specializing in projects that require significant expertise and experience. Our clients span various industries and are located across North America. The Humani team is also located across North America, with our Canadian headquarters in Toronto and our US headquarters in Nashville.
Job Location
This position is based out of our Nashville, TN office. However, opportunities for remote and flexible work are available.
What You’ll Be Doing
We are growing and looking to expand our team with an HR Business Partner to support our diverse set of clients. If you’re an HR professional looking for an opportunity to join a team of seasoned HR professionals and help our clients accelerate their businesses, this is the role for you!
As an HR Business Partner, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex people & culture business issues of our clients, from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- HR Organizational Design, HR Technology, People Strategy, Workforce Planning, People Analytics
- Compliance Support: Ensuring all HR processes are aligned with employment laws and issues, ensuring compliance standards are met for each jurisdiction.
- Software Management: Review and manage client software updates, changes and spearheading implementation where necessary.
- Recruitment Support: Support and manage the client recruitment efforts alongside the Senior HRBP including preparing job outlines, reviewing resumes, conducting preliminary interviews, coordinating client interviews and conducting reference checks.
- Administrative Support: Supporting a variety of client HR programs in conjunction with the Senior HRBP including the review and development of performance management processes, supporting the analysis and design of compensation plans and additional ad hoc requests as needed. Assisting in KPI reporting and project tracking as required.
- Client Relationship Management: Be the lead Humani contact for multiple clients, communicating quickly and efficiently with clients, and coordinating internal Humani resources to support clients as needed.

- Base salary between $70,000 - $85,000 based on skills and experience.

Who You Are
- A minimum of 7 years in a client-facing HR support role.
- Management Consulting experience is an asset, but not required.
- A degree or diploma in HR or related field.
- CHRP designation is an asset.
- Self-motivated and the ability to be flexible to meet client needs, deadlines and time management budgets.
- A true passion for HR: this means staying up to date with trends in the market and having an interest in how HR will evolve in 10 to 15 years from now.
- Organizational skills: clients rely on our team to be very organized and efficient about their approach to solving the client's problem and implementing the solutions.
- Communication and interpersonal Skills: our team needs to interact with many of the client's employees at various levels of the organization and must provide exceptional and professional customer service at all times.
- Experience with HR systems & programs including: Microsoft Office, Google Drive, HR software.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- A working knowledge of project management principles and best practices.
- Change Management experience is ideal.
