POSITION SUMMARY

Plans and coordinates scheduling for classes. |

Arrange facilities for instruction. |
|
C |
Coordinates instructors for classes. |
|
D |
Develops and publishes syllabi for classes. |
|
E |
Completes, coordinates and maintains all required forms to request, conducts and close-out courses. |
|
F |
Develops and executes curricula for classes. |
|
G |
Maintains suitable inventory of teaching supplies, textbooks, software and associated materials. |
|
H |
Provides instruction in EMS topics, in accordance with appropriate national standards. |
|
I |
Tracks statistics and measures related to EMS education efficiency and effectiveness. |
|
J |
Communicates and coordinates with HGH EMS team members, as well as local and regional first responder partners. |
|
K |
Maintains the current cost of classes that are taught along with breakdown of costs associated with each class taught. |
|
L |
As part of the QA process, reviews all completed charts to ensure billing requirements are met and identifies charts requiring further clinical review. |
|
M |
Works at a minimum of one 24-hour shift per month on the ambulance to maintain skills and proficiency. |
|
N |
Other related duties as assigned. |

Qualifications
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS |
MINIMUM EDUCATION: High school graduate or equivalent
PREFERRED EDUCATION: Associate degree or higher in related EMS field
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Two years’ experience desired.
