Performs administrative and certain clinical duties under the direction of physician. The duties of Medical Assistants vary depending on the clinic, size of practice, physician specialty and physician preference. Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting with patient care. Medical Assistants report to the Clinic Supervisor and Physician. |

Greets and escorts patients to exam/procedure rooms. |

Qualifications

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS |

MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Diploma
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: One year in a physician or other clinical location.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: Basic Life Support (BLS)
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES: Medical Assistant Certification.
SPECIAL SKILLS: Medical termination
