HealthcareTeaching Assistant/Instructor
We are looking for an experienced Medical Assistant, LPN or Medical Office Assistant with a minimum of 2 years clinical/office experience working within a physician’s office, billing office or laboratory to assist our faculty chairs.
The healthcare teaching assistant is responsible for assisting our department chairs with all day-to-day administrative duties including assisting with developing clinical sites and assigning students to a clinical rotation. In addition, the healthcare teaching assist will assist instructors in the lab and/or classroom as needed.
Hours:
2 Days from 8:30 am - 4:00 pm
2 Days from 10:30 am - 8:00 pm
Friday's from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Requirements:
· 2 years experience working within a physician’s office, billing office or lab. Skills such as phlebotomy, vital signs, ECG, urinalysis, wound care, EMR/EHR, light billing and coding, filing, pharmacology, medical asepsis, patient care, customer service skills.
· Knowledge of Anatomy & Physiology
· Knowledge of Medical Terminology
· Knowledge of Google Workspace using applications such as Google Docs, Forms, Sheets and Google Classroom a plus
· An ability to learn new methodologies and systems
· Excellent communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
