What are the responsibilities and job description for the Middle School Debate Coach position at Hunter College Elementary School?
We are seeking a middle school debate coach . The MS Debate Coach oversees the Hunter College Elementary School Debate team comprised of 15-20 students. Schedule is part-time, 25 hours/month from September 2024-May 2025. The Debate Coach plans, teaches, coaches, and coordinates Debate Team; provides individual and group instruction, supervision, and mentoring to students; provides coaching and supervision of Team participation in tournaments in the NYC Debate League. Weekly practices are after school from 3:00 – 5:00pm Monday and Wednesday. Attendance to at least one monthly weekend tournament is expected.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Up to $8,000.00 per year
