Employment Information:
- Status: Full-time
- Shift/ Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm (Must work the floor 1 day / week and includes 1 Saturday every 5th week)

Summary:
Primary responsibility of a salesperson is to meet established sales goals for new and used truck sales through selling to existing customers and seeking out new customers.
Essential Duties: include the following. Other duties may be assigned
- Assist customers in selecting a truck by asking questions and listening carefully to their response to satisfy their transportation needs.
- Know and understand federal, state, and local laws which govern retail truck sales.
- Attend product and sales training courses and meetings as requested by management.
- Prepare sold trucks for customer delivery prior to customer arrival.
- Deliver trucks to customers, ensuring that the customer understands the trucks operating features, warranty, and paperwork.
- Introduce customers to parts and service department personnel to emphasize to them the quality and efficiency of service repairs and maintenance available in the dealership's service department.
- Maintain and utilize Arcadium for customer call logs and truck deal information
- Knows and understands the value of used trucks in dealership inventory. Ensure that the used sales manager has an opportunity to meet each customer.
- Read and be accountable to The Hunter Family of Companies New and Used Truck Sales Policies and Procedures manual.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company insurability standards.
- Commercial Driver’s License preferred with 3-6 month of hire; must meet company insurability standards
- Must be able to drive across county and state lines
- Adhere to and promote all existing health and safety policies in the workplace to reinforce the Hunter culture of a safe work environment
