We are a flexible and employee centric tutoring center that is looking for people who want to make some money while making a difference
Our Barrington, IL center is growing and is currently hiring part-time Certified Teachers to help students improve their academic skills. We are here to help students who need extra support and students who need a more challenging supplemental curriculum.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver instruction of pre-planned lessons using our curriculum in groups ranging in size from 1 to 4 students.
- Communicate student progress clearly
- Provide administrative leaders with timely communication of any concerns related to student progress
- Establishing a developmentally appropriate, positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment that is conducive to learning.
- Advancing positive interpersonal relationships with coworkers and students.
- Communicating proficiently with students.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in elementary school education.
- Valid state licensure.
- Proficient knowledge of teaching strategies and methods
- Excellent people skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Availability to work extended hours on occasions.
