Job Summary
As a Paving Laborer at Huntzberry Brothers, Inc., you will work with a paving crew in a safe and effective manner to ensure timely completion of our projects. Safety is our #1 priority!
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform physical labor on heavy civil construction projects
- Assist in loading and unloading materials safely
- Shovel, Rake, and Operate small pieces of equipment to prepare, grade and asphalt pave on the job site
- Follow safety regulations including OSHA and local jurisdictions
- Accept direction from supervisors
- Work in close proximity with other crew members and equipment
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or certification in a skilled trade
- Willingness to work hard every day
- Ability to lift, push, pull in excess of 50 lbs., tolerate exposure to loud noise, dust and toxic materials, and work in constant exposure to outside elements and heat
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
