The Healthcare Career Development Specialist manages the full range of healthcare recruitment processes that result in successful recruitment and placement of qualified healthcare professionals in the Huron community. Provides leadership, support, advocacy and vision to students, educational institutions and healthcare organizations that drives and supports the goal of building an exceptional healthcare workforce.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or related healthcare field preferred.
- Knowledge of information system technology, including word processing, spreadsheets and databases used to prepare reports and business correspondence.
- A high degree of social sensitivity and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with multiple partners. Demonstrates leadership abilities; possesses good oral and written communication skills.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Participate in education to maintain competency within department and learn best practices in program development, recruitment, and retention.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with all partners and students through strong communication skills.
- Follow and maintain hospital and department policies including infection control and safety policies and procedures.
- Communicates in a professional manner with business partners from educational institutions, healthcare organizations, students, prospective employees, coworkers, and families.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
