Reports To: Materials Management Director
Status: 60-72 hours per two week pay period
Shift: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Job Schedule: Part time
Weekly Hours: 30-36

Statement of Purpose:
Performs a variety of duties dealing primarily with receipt, storage, inventory, issuance and delivery of materials from the general supply room.

Requirements
- High school graduate or GED equivalent. Aptitude with numbers important.
- Visual, auditory, and speech acuity requisite to verbal and written communication with hospital staff and vendors and manufacturers' representatives.
- Prefer experience related to hospital supplies -- particularly centralized Materials management and computerized inventory system.
- Computer experience preferred and ability to accurately type at least 35 words per minute is required.
Working Conditions:
- Work involves one-on-one interaction with all departments and levels of the Medical Center's organization.
- Work is usually performed in a well lighted space with range of temperature.
- Work requires light (exerting/lifting up to 20 pounds occasionally, up to 10 pounds frequently, or a negligible amount constantly) to heavy (exerting/lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally, up to 50 pounds frequently and 20 pounds constantly) lifting in moving and storing supplies.
- Work involves sitting, standing, bending, stooping, reaching and some walking throughout the facility.
- Be able to operate a forklift/bobcat for the purpose of unloading freight.
