Mechanical Draftsman: Job Description
SUMMARY: Drafts detailed drawings of parts of machines or structures and coordinates installation of mechanical or electromechanical equipment or plant systems by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Utilizes knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials, and other physical sciences to complete drawings.
Shows dimensions, material to be used,and other information necessary to make detailed drawing clear and complete.
Makes any adjustments or changes necessary or desired, after conferring with Plant Engineer or other appropriate Management.
Confers with Engineering and Management personnel to clarify or resolve problems and help develop designs.
Prepares equipment or system layout and detailed drawings and schematics.
Coordinates manufacturing or building of prototype equipment or systems.
Assist MRO Purchasing Department in the coordination of activities involved with procuring goods and services such as raw materials, equipment, tools, parts and supplies.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
