Compensation: Starting hourly pay rate of $17.50 - $21.50 bonuses!

Progressive and growing master distributor of industrial fasteners seeks a skilled Custodian / Janitor with the responsibility to ensure consistent, thorough facilities cleaning and capability to provide support other duties as assigned by supervisor. Responsibilities:

• Provide cleaning and supports upkeep of multiple operational facilities. Duties include but are not limited to cleaning and maintaining restrooms, breakrooms, carpets, and vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors hard surface floors
• Other normal cleaning and maintenance duties include: dusting furniture, pictures, ventilation, lights, and/or blinds, as well as emptying wastebaskets, cleaning windows and restrooms
• Drives vehicles (as required) to travel to other facilities.
• May also sweep walks, rake leaves, cut grass, remove snow or perform other incidental seasonal tasks.
• Must be flexible with other duties as assigned by supervisor
  
  

Schedule: We are flexible in determining a set-schedule for this individual. Hours can be set at either Part-Time or Full-Time depending on the availability of the right candidate.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to utilize electrical and mechanical maintenance tools.
• Ability to climb ladders while carrying material.
• Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift 20-30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work Power Equipment (Forklift, Reach lift, etc). In-house training provided.
  
  

Qualifications

Ideal Qualifications:

• Direct experience in corporate maintenance / custodial / janitorial work preferred.
• Knowledge and ability to utilize common hand and power tools properly / safely.
• Ability to prioritize work in conjunction with supervisor.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills desirable.
  
  

Work Environment: This is an Office/Warehouse/ Manufacturing plant environment. Exposure to high temperatures, moving machinery, moving equipment, heights and confined spaces is regular. Candidates should anticipate a very fast-paced customer focused sales environment.
