PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a compassionate dental and administrative assistant that would be primarily responsible for (1) assisting the Dentist with endodontic procedures and (2) keeping the guest experience fantastic, including patient management, billing and scheduling.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
- Prepare the treatment rooms for dental procedures
- Provide chairside assistance to the Dentist
- Record accurate and concise patient/treatment information and clinical notes
- Explain to each patient the purpose and process involved in their dental care
- Take radiographs
- Maintain sterilization area as clean and organized
- Patient scheduling, registration, billing and collection, data entry and processing, and cash posting
- Ensure quality patient service by providing thorough patient care, effective communication, and personal attention in a gentle, caring manner.
- Follow and demonstrate commitment to Huza Endodontics’ policies, professional expectations, clinical service excellence, and outstanding patient service.
- Effectively communicate and develop a strong working relationship with the Dentist and promote teamwork through cooperative and professional behaviors.
- Follow OSHA and CDC Guidelines for a clean and safe workplace.
- Other duties may be assigned.

Dr. Huza is the founder and a board certified endodontist who has practiced in Manhattan for the past eight years and is now opening a practice in Trumbull, CT. Education/Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· 2 years dental assistant experience
· X-ray certified (preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift

Experience:
- Dental assisting: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
