What are the responsibilities and job description for the Milieu Therapist position at HVHS Brand?
Department: Psychiatric Unit, Work Hours: Days and Evenings, 8 hour shifts. Rotating weekends and Holidays.
Facilitates therapeutic groups for patients. Provides professional patient care for psychiatric patients on an acute care, inpatient setting under the delegation of the Psychiatric Charge RN and the Nurse Manager, Psychiatry, in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in mental health related field such as social work or psychology.
Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.
Previous professional experience with psychiatric patients is preferred.
