Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform systems engineering to include expertise in systems design and integration; manufacturing, quality and industrial engineering; airworthiness; and configuration and data management.
- Execute AFPD 62-6, USAF Airworthiness, through standardized processes, and issuance of flight authorizations.
- Assist in reviewing, developing, and updating applicable program documentation for systems engineering relevant requirements/issues.
- Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-Accredited program and fifteen (15) years of relevant experience.
- Master’s degree in engineering from an ABET-Accredited program and twelve (12) years of relevant experience.
- Must have five (5) years of Government Acquisition experience.
- Must have knowledge of systems engineering in support of system definition, development, integration, verification methods, sustainment, risk modeling/simulation, testing and evaluation, human system integration (HSI), crew stations engineering, OSS&E efforts, interoperability requirements, and airworthiness certification across a wide range of hardware and software systems, including ground-based systems.

Other Position Requirements:
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
- Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance by date of hire.
