Summary
The Assistant Director of Rooms will oversee all aspects of the Rooms Division.
The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for ensuring Hotel’s operation meet Hyatt’s brand-integrity & standards while building colleague engagement, maximizing hotel revenue, understanding guests’ needs and providing an elevated experience curated for each patron.
Responsibilities in this role include however are not limited to:
- Responsible for short- and long-term planning.
- Coaching and development of management associates.
- Direct the implementation of the payroll, reports, forecasts, inventory and budget for Rooms Operation.
- Resolve customer complaints as appropriate to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality.
- Implement procedures to increase guest and associate satisfaction.
- Attend we care meeting and ensure guest issues are resolved in a timely manner.

Qualifications
- 4 years or more of progressive hotel Rooms Division experience (typically with Hyatt)
- Service oriented style with professional presentations skills
- Proven leadership skills
- Hotel/Hospitality degree preferred
- Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, proven track record in high volume concept, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service and ability to improve the bottom line
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in rooms operating systems
- Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills
