The Purchasing Clerk is responsible for:

• Knowledge of par levels, stock rotation and expiration date tracking
• Ability to receive, inspect and store Alcoholic Beverage deliveries correctly.
• Proficient in conducting physical inventory counts and issuing of requisition
• Ability to label, categorize and store beverage according to type (alcoholic/non-alcoholic), brand and storage requirements
• Skilled in identifying stock discrepancies and reporting variances
• Ability to receive, inspect and store Food & Beverage deliveries accurately
• Demonstrates a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Being reliable, punctual and trustworthy with high value inventory
• Comfortable working in cold storage areas (f required)
• Works closely with Culinary, Food & Beverage Divisions
• Knowledge of Food and Beverage safety regulations and proper storage practices
• Maintains confidentiality and integrity standards
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized storeroom

Qualifications

• Proven ability to handle a large workload in a fast-paced environment
• Basic knowledge of stock control and FIFO (First In, First Out) principles
• Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in storeroom, inventory, or beverage handling roles.
• Excellent verbal, written communication and using inventory software (e.g. BirchStreet or Excel)
• Lift up 50lbs. occasionally throughout the day
• Able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
• Familiarity with hospitality or Food & Beverage industry operations preferred.
