The Banquet Bartender will deliver prompt and professional service to all guests while strictly adhering to established control systems for dispensing alcoholic beverages. This role focuses on maximizing beverage sales while ensuring full compliance with liquor laws, company policies, and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate excellent public and customer relations skills at all times, proactively greeting guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Dispense alcoholic beverages responsibly and manage service to prevent over-intoxication, ensuring full compliance with liquor laws, hotel policies, and company regulations.
- Prepare and charge for drink orders accurately and efficiently, following established procedures for each order.
- Adhere to all liquor laws, health regulations, and company policies, ensuring compliance in all aspects of beverage service.
- Perform side duties such as cleaning, garnish preparation, stocking, and miscellaneous tasks to maintain a well-organized bar area.
- Wash and sanitize glasses and utensils to meet health and safety standards.
- Ensure all alcohol is removed from counters and tables prior to the designated closing time to comply with company policies.
- Take on additional duties as assigned, ensuring flexibility and a team-oriented approach.
- If acting in a Lead Capacity:
- Take responsibility for supervising assigned employees in the absence of the Supervisor.
- Assign tasks and ensure proper performance of team members to maintain service quality.
Education and Experience
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Experience Previous bartending experience preferred.
Licenses/Certifications
- Must have TIPS certification and meet state law age requirements for tending bar.
