Job Location: Commerce, TX (on-site)
Process OperatorJob Responsibilities:
- Work in heavy industrial, fast paced environment as a general laborer producing aluminum.
- Follow standard operating procedures and maintain accuraterecords on job assignment.
- Safely use mobile equipment and overhead cranes.
- Maintain quality specifications andchecks on the operationacross various production areas including melting furnace, casting and automated saws.
- Adhere to all safety rules, guidelines and wearappropriate PPE when required.Demonstrates safelyperforming job tasks as our top priority.
Requirements:
- Willingness to work 12 hour weekly rotating shifts (day-night, every other weekend)
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures (summer and winter months)
- Stable work history in similar environmental elements preferred
- Experience in production and operating industrial machinery
- Heavy mobile equipment and forklift experience preferred
- Demonstrated commitment to Housekeeping and Safety principles
- Understanding/knowledge of industrial technology will be an advantage (hydraulics, pneumatics, combustion, electrical and mechanical maintenance)
- Understanding of PC's will be an advantage
- Must be able to performindustrial tasks physically and apply basic mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills
