Responsibilities
- Lead and support all production operations during 2nd shift across the facility
- Ensure performance targets are met for safety, quality, and on-time delivery
- Develop and adjust shift plans to align people, equipment, and materials with production needs
- Provide direction to Production Supervisors and Team Leaders, ensuring clear priorities and expectations
- Promote lean manufacturing principles and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support plant-wide goals
- Ensure safety protocols and company policies are consistently followed
- Troubleshoot production challenges and implement timely solutions
- Foster a culture of accountability, communication, and employee engagement
- 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including leadership roles
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage shift operations in a complex production setting
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, planning, and performance management
- Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to coordinate across departments and resolve operational issues in real time
- Familiarity with safety standards and quality assurance processes
- High school diploma or GED is required
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred
