Annual Salary: $160,000 – $175,000 (Depending on Experience)
Position Overview
I-5 Design Build is seeking a seasoned Senior Site Superintendent to lead the onsite execution of high-end commercial and hospitality design-build projects across the U.S. This full-time traveling position plays a vital role in our fast-track project delivery approach—overseeing field operations from pre-construction through final completion on active job sites nationwide.
This role is ideal for a senior-level professional with deep experience in managing complex commercial construction projects, coordinating multiple subcontractors, and driving excellence in schedule, safety, and quality from the field.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Construction
Lead subcontractor outreach, evaluation, and hiring in coordination with the project team
Develop comprehensive site logistics and project work schedules
Collaborate on constructability reviews and early planning tasks to ensure field readiness
Onsite Construction Management
Direct all onsite construction activities and ensure performance aligns with project goals
Manage and coordinate subcontractors, trades, deliveries, and inspections
Maintain strict adherence to quality standards, schedule milestones, and safety protocols
Serve as the onsite leader and primary field point of contact for clients, inspectors, and vendors
Resolve issues proactively to prevent delays and ensure a smooth construction process
Provide accurate and timely field reporting and documentation
Qualifications
10 years of experience as a superintendent on complex commercial/hospitality projects
Extensive experience with commercial remodels and new builds in:
Casinos and gaming environments
High-end restaurants and resorts
Entertainment and retail venues
Proven ability to manage subcontractors and onsite personnel under tight timelines
Skilled in scheduling tools and construction software (Microsoft Project, Procore, or equivalent)
Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, building codes, and safety regulations
Willingness and ability to travel full-time to project sites across the U.S.
