What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marine Technician position at Ibbetson Yacht Solutions?
If you have mechanical or marine knowledge and want to be rewarded for being an Honest, Hard worker, always thinking ahead and seeing the big picture. We work on the Vessels 90% of the time while in the slip. Maintenance and repair on large Yachts, typically 40-70 feet long. We do everything from the waterline up, including Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical, Steering systems, Hydraulics systems, Thrusters, Davits, Fluid changes on Motors, Generators and more. Most work is on Diesel engines, some gas outboards for Tenders. Paid time off based on major holidays. We can not have any Cigarette, Marijuana smokers or heavy drinkers because of liability reasons. We want employees who think like an owner. We are a drama free workplace. It is like a pa & ma work place.
Duties are expected perform:
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Work in confined spaces
- have the ability to work alone or in a team
- Maintain neat and clean equipment
- Continually describe progress of work in their timecards.
- Have a good work ethic and be able to communicate issues if stuck on a project.
- Have strong troubleshooting and analytical capabilities.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
Supplemental pay types:
