The Warehouse Checker is responsible for verifying the accuracy of the orders being picked and ready for shipment. This role plays a critical part in maintaining stock accuracy and supporting efficient warehouse operations.
Salary starts at $17-$ 20 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect and verify the quantity, quality, and condition of the outgoing goods.
- Check shipping documents against physical items (e.g., invoices, packing lists, bills of lading).
- Document discrepancies such as shortages, damages, or excess items.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure correct items are picked and packed for shipping.
- Assist with periodic cycle counts and full physical inventories.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners (if certified).
- Follow all safety and security procedures in the warehouse.
- Report any irregularities or issues to the supervisor promptly.
