Foreign Language Instructors, Testers, Raters, Distance Learning Mentors,

Curriculum Developers, Curriculum Specialists, and Digital Materials Editors for

in-person positions at the

Department of State’s Foreign Service Institute in Arlington, VA.

We are looking for candidates for the following languages:

Albanian, Arabic, Amharic, Azerbaijani, Bengali, Bosnian, Bulgarian, Burmese, Chinese, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Farsi, Finnish, German, Georgian, Greek, Gujarati, Hindi, Haitian Creole, Hausa, Hebrew, Hungarian, Icelandic, Italian, Japanese, Kazakh, Khmer (Cambodian), Korean, Kurdish (Kurmanji and Sorani), Kyrgyz, Lao, Latvian, Lithuanian, Macedonian, Malay, Mongolian, Montenegrin, Nepali, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazilian and European), Punjabi, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Sinhala, Slovak, Slovenian, Somali, Spanish, Swahili, Swedish, Tagalog (Filipino), Tajiki, Tamil, Telugu, Thai, Tibetan, Turkish, Turkmen, Ukrainian, Urdu, Uzbek, and Vietnamese.

Candidates should hold a BA and have at least three years of experience

in foreign language teaching, testing, or curriculum development in adult-student environment.
