What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavior Technician (ABA)(LBUSD) position at ICAN-B (Applied Behavior Analysis)?
Pay Range: $19-$23/hour. Drive mileage reimbursed at $0.75 per mile.
We are currently looking for new candidates to join our team as Behavior Technicians. The Behavior Technician position would consist of one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis services for children with special needs. The Behavior Technician would drive to a client’s home and conduct services and programs. These services vary depending on the client’s needs and programs. Programs include, but are not limited to, self-help skills, social skills, and gross motor skills.
Currently, we offer full-time in-school Behavior Technician positions.This is a great opportunity for individuals interested in the fields of Psychology, Child Development, Sociology and other social sciences. This will allow individuals with a degree or interest in Psychology to utilize this knowledge. A degree in Psychology is preferred, but not required as we welcome applicants from all educational backgrounds.
Who is ICAN-B?
ICAN-B is an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) service provider that was established in 2015 by brothers Dr. Jose Davila and Juan Davila. We currently serve families in the Los Angeles/San Fernando Valley, Ventura, Orange, and San Mateo Counties. We are also looking to grow and service more families in the Inland Empire county.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree or currently completing Undergrad educational coursework in the areas of child development, special education, psychology, or related field.
- Experience working with individuals with special needs, autism is preferred (not required)
- Ability to pass background/fingerprint clearance
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and auto insurance is required
- Full-time prospects must be available M-F 7am-3pm, and 3pm-5pm for in-home clients
- Staff working at school locations must have proof of vaccination
