Security Clearance
- Applicant must be eligible to hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.
General Tasking Description:
Functional oversight of a team of approximately 22 logisticians across the myriad of Navy acquisition logistics areas
- GFE
- INCO and sparing
- Material Analysis
- Parts Cannibalization
- Manpower, Personnel and Training (MPT) products and processes
- Logistics handoffs from new construction to in-service
- Tech Manual Management
- General headquarters logistics support: briefings, action tracking, program reviews
- Supervision of parent company logistics personnel
- Prepare briefs, technical requirements, plans, policies, procedures, concepts, and schedules and provide weekly status reports.
- Facilitate and participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPT), Integrated Logistics Support Management Teams (ILSMT), Product Support Management Teams (PSMT), advisory boards, conferences, Quarterly Ship Program Reviews (SPRs), off-site meetings, working groups, audit teams, etc.
- Provide management and analysis of the DDG 51 Coordinated Shipboard Analysis List (COSAL), including the configuration control of the AEL Baseline for installed equipment.
- Validate all waterfront installations, waivers/deviations, and modifications in order to maintain configuration accuracy.
- Oversee the functions of the Configuration Management Acquisition Management Activity (CAMA) for DDG 51 new construction ships.
- In-person interface with government and support team personnel in DC; this is a hybrid work position with a hard requirement for at least 3 days a week in-office presence and as required for client meetings.
- Minimum 10 years professional experience performing logistics or product support work.
- Preferred: Over 10 years professional experience on Navy platforms performing logistics; Experience with DDG51 Class logistics product development
- Bachelor’s Degree or preferred experience
