We are headquartered in Virginia Beach, VA. We are seeking a Junior Engineering Technician to support our Navy customer in Pascagoula, MS.
Security Clearance:
· Applicants must be eligible to hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.
Position/Job Description:
General Tasking Description:
· Works alongside engineering, developer, and specialist personnel to perform maintenance, installation, fabrication, test and evaluation, sustainment, and troubleshooting of a number of systems and subsystems.
· Perform all tasking via formally documented processes and procedures.
· Assist in providing input into project processes and procedures.
· Reviews low-level technical documents, drawings, and other forms of documentation.
Experience Requirements:
· 1 to 4 years of professional experience providing engineering support on Navy programs.
· Experience of Shipboard Maintenance on Navy Combatants.
· Familiarity of working in New Ship construction is preferred.
· Familiarity of working on a Shipyard is preferred.
Educational & Certification Requirements:
· Highschool Diploma or GED
