Vice President, Technology Transformation Lead

We are looking for a strategic, execution-oriented technology leader to join our Client Advisory team and help shape how we use technology and data to elevate our platform and scale our impact.

You will work with technology teams to identify opportunities where data and automation can streamline processes, deepen insight, and enhance the client and advisor experience. You will lead the creation, mobilization, and execution of a forward-looking technology strategy—one that leverages AI and data to drive smarter decision-making, automate and optimize operations at scale, and embed intelligence into every layer of the business.

This role sits within ICONIQ Investment Management which strives to deliver exceptional investment portfolios by harnessing the differentiated capital and strategic strength of the ICONIQ community.

What You’ll Do:

• Partner with Client Advisory leads, the Tech Strategy Group and Technology teams to design and implement a multi-year roadmap that aligns with the Client Advisory business’s strategic priorities.
• Translate business needs into scalable, technology-enabled solutions that prioritize high-impact, high-ROI opportunities.
• Lead initiatives to implement and operationalize new tools and platforms, with a focus on AI, automation, and data enablement, partnering closely with Technology Infrastructure, Data and Engineering teams.
• Mobilize cross-functional teams and resources to drive adoption and measurable outcomes.
• Champion a data- and technology-forward mindset across the investment organization.
• Build internal fluency around new tools and systems through thoughtful education, training, and storytelling.
• Build frameworks for turning raw data into insights, dashboards, and storytelling tools that add value to client conversations and internal processes.
• Partner with data and analytics teams to ensure data integrity, accessibility, and usability.

Ideal Candidate Background:

• 10 years of experience in technology strategy, digital transformation, product management, or business consulting—ideally within or adjacent to the financial services, fintech, or investment industries.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives that apply technology to solve complex business challenges, drive automation, and unlock operational efficiencies.
• Strong strategic thinking with a bias for execution—you’re comfortable shaping a roadmap and rolling up your sleeves to bring it to life.
• Ability to quickly learn and navigate investment management concepts, workflows, and client service models.
• Experience with modern data and automation tools (e.g., Addepar, Snowflake, Salesforce, low/no-code platforms, AI/ML solutions, business intelligence tools like Tableau or Power BI).
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate between technical and business audiences and build trust across teams.
• A collaborative mindset and genuine curiosity—you enjoy learning from domain experts and helping them see how technology can elevate their work.

Compensation Range: ICONIQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At ICONIQ, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation terms. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $200,000.00 - $250,000 together with the benefits listed above.
