Industrial Equipment Technician 2

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Journeyman Industrial Maintenance Mechanic 2 (Millwright) to join our weekend maintenance team at Idaho Forest Group.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all plant machinery and equipment are in optimal working order through installation, repair, and maintenance. This involves performing a range of tasks, including predictive, preventative, and corrective maintenance procedures.

Main Responsibilities

1. Install, repair, and maintain plant machinery and equipment
2. Perform predictive, preventative, and corrective maintenance procedures
3. Assemble, install, and repair equipment following blueprints and schematics
4. Work safely and efficiently, adhering to lock out/tag out policies
5. Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth operation of the facility

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of industrial equipment and mechanical systems
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in extreme weather conditions
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• High school diploma or equivalent required; certificate or associate degree in a related field preferred
