Salary: $27 to $36 per hour
Job Description Are you passionate about event planning and coordination? Our dynamic team is seeking an Entry Level Events Assistant who is eager to kickstart their career in the exciting world of events! In this role, you'll have the unique opportunity to learn from experienced professionals while playing a vital part in the planning and execution of a variety of events, including corporate meetings, social gatherings, and promotional events.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and coordination of various events
- Support the events team with logistics and operational tasks
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure event needs are met
- Help create event timelines, budgets, and checklists
- Set up and break down event spaces as needed
- Assist in collecting feedback and conducting post-event evaluations
Qualities We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software
