Ideal Clamp Products is seeking an experienced and dedicated HR Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing human resources operations for our Manufacturing Plant, Distribution Center, and Corporate Administrative employees. You will play a key role in managing various HR functions, including compensation, benefits, time and attendance, employee relations, KPI measurement, legal compliance, strong communication, training and development, and workers' compensation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures in alignment with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Oversee all aspects of compensation and benefits administration, ensuring competitive and fair practices.
- Manage the time and attendance system, ensuring accurate records are maintained and policies are followed.
- Act as a point of contact for employee relations matters, addressing concerns and ensuring a positive and respectful work environment.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) related to HR processes and measure their effectiveness to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations, and company policies, keeping up to date with changes in legislation.
- Foster effective communication channels between management, employees, and other stakeholders, promoting transparency and collaboration.
- Facilitate training and development programs to enhance employees' skills and knowledge, supporting their career growth.
- Oversee the workers' compensation process, including claims management, reporting, and liaising with insurance providers.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in HR, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance HR processes.
- Other projects at the discretion of your manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or HR certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in an HR management role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of compensation and benefits administration, including experience with job evaluation and salary benchmarking.
- Solid understanding of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, and fostering a positive work culture.
- Proficient in HRIS systems and other relevant software applications; WorkforceNow a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism.
- Proactive mindset, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
