What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Specialist position at iDoc Repair LLC?

Responsibilities

As an Inventory Specialist, your main responsibility will be to intake and label parts, including performing visual and detailed inspections of various computer components. Along with the rest of the Inventory team, you will work together to ensure technicians always have access to the parts they need to complete repairs. You will occasionally be asked to teardown computers to add parts to our internal stock. Additionally, you will be expected to be able to accomplish larger organizational goals regarding customer satisfaction and company growth. Other responsibilities may be assigned depending on company needs. 


Skills and Abilities

  • Abundance of attention to detail
  • Spot defects on parts while intaking them
  • Perform detailed inspection of problem parts to identify common issues
  • Identifying trends in the usage of parts
  • Ability to analyze situations and identify problems and pain points
  • Can follow directions and perform repetitive tasks without making mistakes
  • Ability to function within a fast-paced environment
  • Problem-solving
  • Competency with Windows-based devices
  • Interpersonal skills

Education and Experience

  • Two years of relevant experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent


Physical Abilities

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to consistently work during regular operating hours, including weekends, and during times of mandatory overtime.
