Position Summary:
Testing various types of complex digital/analog electronic circuit card and cable/harness assemblies and any test equipment certification that is required prior to product testing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Under close direction, performs routine electronic test work in accordance with established test procedures.
- Use manufacturing and engineering instructions for testing assembled electronic units.
- Test electronic units and products, using standard and custom test equipment, document and evaluate results to determine acceptable vs. faulty performance.
- Write reports and record data on testing techniques, lab equipment, and specs to assist engineers.
- Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, working with test engineering as necessary to procure replacement parts.
- Maintain system logs and manuals to document testing and operation of equipment.
- Provide user applications and engineering support and recommendations for new and existing equipment with regard to installation, upgrade and enhancement.
- May be required to interface with customers, and provide customer support, working with users to identify needs, determine sources of problems, and to provide information on product use.
- Follow and support Lean and 5S initiatives.
- May be required to perform preventative maintenance and calibration of equipment and systems.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Job Specifications / Qualifications / Skills:
- AS Degree in Electronics or equivalent years of experience preferred
- 1-3 years of related experience preferred
- Must be reliable; reliable attendance required
- Knowledge of practical application of engineering electronics, science, and technology; this includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services
- Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming
- Familiarity with flying probe tester (SPEA) Teradyne (GEN RAD), preferred
- Ability to read and understand work instructions
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to meet time standard requirements
- Experience in electronic manufacturing preferred but not required
- J-STD-001 certification preferred but not required
- Mil-standard experience preferred but not required
- Willingness to learn, be adaptable and flexible in role
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, verbally and in writing

- Work Environment: Manufacturing environment where the noise level is generally quiet to moderately noisy.
- Weight Requirements: Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 40 pounds.
- Body Movements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand, walk, sit, climb, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Ability to stand, sit, and move about facility for long periods of time. Ability to use hands and fingers.
