General Job Description

KEP is owned by IES Residential. We do multi-family and mixed use buildings. We are looking for an experienced Assistant Project Manager.

 

Summary

As a member of our project management team, you will oversee all aspects of assigned commercial projects from commencement to completion. You will manage these projects in a manner that exceeds our customers' expectations and ensures that our work adheres to all company safety policies and OSHA mandated requirements. This position reports to the senior project manager for the commercial division, who is based in our corporate office in Columbus, OH.

Job Specifics

  • Estimate change orders for assigned projects with supervision of PM.
  • Manage all closeout procedures with supervision of PM.
  • Develop and maintain a network of professional relationships within the industry.
  • Prepare and perform buyouts from BOM with supervision of PM.
  • Will learn basic CAD
  • Prepare documents for all meetings PM conducts.
  • Attend job meetings along with PM/PE for experience.
  • Order and occasionally deliver material. If material delivery is needed, mileage or company vehicle will be provided.
  • Coordinate with other trades with supervision of PM.
  • Assist PM/PE as necessary.
