General Job Description
IES Residential is currently seeking Electrical Helpers to join our team in the Houston area.
- Assist lead technicians with installing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in residential homes.
- Perform basic tasks under supervision, such as running wires, mounting fixtures, and connecting electrical components.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including storing tools and materials properly.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Learn and adhere to electrical codes, regulations, and best practices under the guidance of experienced technicians.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
- Support lead technicians in conducting inspections and completing service calls in a timely and efficient manner.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to the success of the residential service team.
