Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Facilitate the definition of future concepts for modeling, simulation, and analysis
· Act as a subject matter expert in future concept definition, architecture analyses, and reviewing preliminary results prior to delivery to customer
· Assess MDS threats, capability gaps, challenges, needs and opportunities, and develop potential system mitigations and capability revolutions and evolutions at the architecture level
· Support modeling & simulation (M&S) efforts related to the above, including analysis efforts on DoD High Performance Computing (HPC)
· Develop analysis plans, run M&S to execute the analysis plan, perform analysis on the results, prepare analysis reports, and provide reviews of analysis products
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
· Master's Degree in STEM Field with 12 years of experience in missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program/project
· Active Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI
· Extensive experience in the modeling, assessment, and evaluation of future missile defense architectures
· Deep understanding of the current MDS architecture and future concepts
Desired Qualifications
· Active TS/SCI Clearance
· Experience with the definition and use of advanced concepts and algorithms for the M&S of MDS architectures
· Experience with M&S and analysis of MDS architectures involving both directed and kinetic energy weapons and other future concepts
· Ability to develop and use MDS architecture simulations; knowledge of MATLAB and/or Python is a plus, including HPC experience and/or MBSE experience
· Experience supporting systems engineering-related architecture design activities
· Ability to perform technology assessment & analysis and provide insight on the utility of potentially useful technologies
· Experience with multidisciplinary analysis and optimization environments, including analysis of diverse physical phenomena
· Specialized MDS analysis experience in: threat characterization, trajectories, RF sensing/signatures, and/or EO/IR sensing/signatures
· Proven ability to coauthor numerous reports and provide significant contributions to MDS studies and responses to Congress
· Experience with Cyber gaps, mitigations, and future Cyber Architecture development
· Experience serving as a key advisor and collaborating on products that may go outside the Agency, such as DoD, Services, Combatant Commands, industry experts, etc.
Security Clearance Requirements:
Must have an active Secret Security Clearance
Education Requirements:
· Master’s Degree in STEM Discipline
Other Requirements:
Must be a US citizen and be able to hold an active Security Clearance at the Secret Level.
