Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to determine specifications and materials needed
- Cut, shape, and bend aluminum using various tools and machinery
- Weld and assemble aluminum components according to specifications
- Inspect finished products for quality control and make necessary adjustments or repairs
- Collaborate with other team members to optimize workflow and ensure timely completion of projects
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, reporting any issues or malfunctions
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in aluminum fabrication
- Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings
- Strong knowledge of different aluminum alloys and their properties
- Familiarity with various tools and machinery used in aluminum fabrication, such as shears, saws, and brakes
- Excellent welding and soldering skills
- Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
