We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Petroleum Engineer to join our team. As a Petroleum Engineer, you will play a key role in the exploration, production, and development of oil and gas reserves. You will be responsible for analyzing reservoir data, designing well completions and production facilities, and optimizing production rates. Additionally, you will work closely with drilling engineers, geologists, and other professionals to ensure the efficient and safe extraction of hydrocarbons.
Responsibilities
- Conduct reservoir engineering studies to determine the economic feasibility of oil and gas reserves.
- Develop and implement reservoir management strategies to maximize production rates and optimize recovery.
- Design well completions and production facilities, including the selection of artificial lift methods and production equipment.
- Analyze well performance data and implement production enhancement techniques.
- Collaborate with drilling engineers to develop well plans and evaluate drilling and completion operations.
- Perform reservoir simulations to predict reservoir performance and optimize field development plans.
- Ensure compliance with company, industry, and regulatory standards and guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Petroleum Engineer in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of reservoir engineering principles, including well testing, decline curve analysis, and fluid flow behavior.
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software, such as Eclipse or Petrel.
- Familiarity with completion and production engineering techniques and methodologies.
- Solid understanding of drilling and completion operations.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- Willingness to travel to field locations as required.
