- Review invoices to ensure accuracy and appropriate support
- Accountable for processing invoices and associated payments
- Resolve vendor discrepancies, account balances, stale invoice / credit balances
- Verify contract pricing and provide proper account coding
- Assist with annual process around 1099 filings
- Analyze aged payable reports, research stale or deviated balances
- Assist with variance analysis
- Assist in preparing account reconciliations as assigned
- Follow internal control policies and procedures
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Build relationships with Operations and other Finance & Accounting teams to assist in executing activities
- Identify and implement improvements to add to efficiency and effectiveness of processes
- 2 to 4 years of accounting experience, including oil and gas industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite plus advanced Excel expertise
- Experience with Enverus OpenInvoice, PowerBI, W Energy and SAP a plus
- Experience working in a growing start up environment strongly preferred
- Flexibility to grow and change with company needs
Compensation details : 26.44-28.84 Hourly Wage
