Responsibilities
- Work independently to formulate various skin care and hair care products
- Make batches, research and request raw materials, test skin care products and troubleshoot under supervision
- Adhere to a cGMP environment, document and follow lab procedures with attention to detail
- Prepare all required paperwork
- Attend cosmetic seminars and meetings
- Request, test and release new raw material samples
- Calibrate Lab Equipment as needed
- Assist team members as needed
- Assist in scale up and production manufacturing
- Perform other activities as required
- 3-5 years formulation experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field
- Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
- Knowledge of basic science laboratory equipment
- Strong problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong computer skills
- Attention to detail and project management skills
- Ability to work in team environment and independently
