Position Summary:
Responsible for oversight and management of the VIP Lounge; including but not limited to, admission to the lounge, food quality and presentation, and ensuring the cleanliness of the lounge area.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Promotes superior guest service.
- Monitors the entrance to the VIP Lounge to ensure access is tracked.
- Ensures the quality of the room and reports issues.
- Provides guidance and feedback on the menu in the VIP Lounge to the Casino Marketing Manager.
- Entertains guests in the VIP Lounge while building relationships in the area.
- Works in collaboration with the Food and Beverage department to provide excellent service in the VIP Lounge guests and maintain the integrity of the room in regard to access.
- Has the ability to extend complementary service in accordance with approved comp matrix.
- Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).
- One (1) years experience working in a high-volume casino environment
OR
- High School Diploma / GED and Five (5) years of experience in a business or professional setting.
- Excellent communication conflict resolution skills.
- Able to stand during entire shift with frequent reaching, bending, and stooping.
- Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
- Must be willing to work in a smoking environment.
- Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Food and Beverage experience
Shift Schedule Overview:
Monday to Thursday: 4:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.
Friday: 4:30 p. m. - 12:30 a.m. OR to 6:30 p.m. - 2:30 a.m.
Saturday: 10:30 a.m.-.6:30.p.m. OR 6:30 p.m. - 2:30 a.m.
Sunday: 10:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. OR 2:30 p.m. - 10:30 a.m.
On some Holidays the work hours may be extended
