Global Education Content Consultant

ILIA Beauty is seeking a highly experienced Global Education Content professional to support the execution of global education initiatives across product launches, retailer training, and brand education. This role is designed for a seasoned beauty education expert who has deep experience creating best-in-class training content for prestige beauty brands and top-tier retail partners, and who can operate independently from day one.

This consultant will serve as a key executional partner to the Executive Director of Global Education, owning the development of retailer-ready education materials, certification content, and launch assets across global markets. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of how education comes to life within retailers like Sephora or ULTA  and knows how to translate brand vision into clear, compelling, and actionable training tools.

This role is remote.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Launch & Retail Education Execution

• Lead the development of launch-ready education materials across global markets, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and retailer relevance

• Create shade matching tools, undertone guidance, and comparison charts tailored for in-store and digital education environments

• Develop retailer-specific training documents, including sell-in guides, quick reference tools, and certification materials

• Build LMS modules, certification quizzes, and assessment content aligned to retailer education standards

• Partner with Creative and Marketing teams to write educational video scripts, application walkthroughs, and product storytelling content

Education Content Development

• Write clear, expert-level product education scripts covering application techniques, shade guidance, and key selling points

• Develop retailer-facing FAQs, objection handling, and troubleshooting guides

• Create social-first and video-forward education content that supports both retail and brand-owned channels

• Ensure all education materials reflect ILIA’s clean beauty positioning, inclusive shade philosophy, and prestige standards

Project & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Independently manage education timelines and deliverables across multiple launches and initiatives

• Coordinate with external vendors (video production, graphic design, LMS partners) to execute education assets on schedule

• Maintain and organize the global education asset library and digital training resources

DELIVERABLES

This role is accountable for producing:

• Launch-specific product training documents

• Retailer certification modules and assessment materials

• Educational video scripts and supporting content

• Shade matching tools and reference guides

• Project timelines, status updates, and delivery recaps

• 5 years of experience in beauty education, global training, or education content development for prestige beauty brands. Prior examples of work or portfolio are required to be considered for this position. 

• Proven track record creating retailer-ready education materials for partners such as Sephora and ULTA

• Deep understanding of makeup artistry, application techniques, shade matching, and complexion education

• Exceptional writing skills with the ability to translate complex product information into clear, compelling education

• Hands-on experience with LMS platforms, training certifications, and digital education tools

• Highly autonomous working style with the ability to execute quickly, manage priorities, and problem-solve independently

WORKING RELATIONSHIP

• Reports directly to Executive Director of Global Education

• Attends weekly sync meetings 

• Collaborates with Marketing, Creative, and Sales teams as needed

• Works remotely 

SUCCESS METRICS

• On-time delivery of all educational materials per launch timeline

• Quality of training materials as measured by retailer feedback

• Certification completion rates and LMS assessment scores

• Efficiency in project coordination and vendor management
