Illinois Valley is in need of hiring a QIDP (Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional) for their Jerseyville Community Day Services Program.
Responsibilities:
- Will be responsible for development and implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISP) for adults with developmental disabilities.
- Will perform all required assessments, in addition to coordinating with staff to assure the ISPs are implemented properly.
- Will assist the Site Supervisor, as needed, in the overall management and supervision of the Jerseyville CDS Program.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work or Recreation (or other degree approved by DHS).
- One-year experience supporting or interacting with persons with developmental disabilities.
- Ability to relate, communicate and work well with individuals with disabilities.
- QIDP certification and previous experience with supervision is required.
This position includes excellent benefits and generous vacation, personal and sick time accruals, as well as 13 holidays per year.
Salary negotiable based on experience.
