As the Plant Finance Manager, you will lead all financial operations at the plant level, ensuring accurate reporting, effective cost control, and compliance with corporate financial policies. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of plant financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Partner with plant leadership to develop and implement strategies for improving operational and financial performance.
- Conduct ROI analysis on capital investments and major projects to ensure effective resource utilization.
- Maintain and monitor product standard costs, ensuring alignment with actual production costs.
- Analyze cost variances and collaborate with operations to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
- Establish and uphold operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and maintain compliance.
- Interpret financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process and cost improvements.
- Lead and support special projects focused on innovation and productivity, including technology and system enhancements.
- Track and report greenhouse gas emissions in compliance with the GHG Protocol, supporting sustainability goals.
- Support the month-end and year-end financial close processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide training and guidance to plant staff on financial principles and practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of financial planning, cost accounting, and operational finance.
- Proven analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead initiatives and collaborate effectively across departments.
