Job Overview:
SCHEDULE: PLEASE VERIFY YOU CAN WORK THESE DAYS/TIMES. THE SCHEDULE IS 10 PM TO 10 AM. STAFF MUST STAY UNTIL 10 AM - THIS IS A 12 HOUR SHIFT.
- MONDAY NIGHT 10 PM TO TUESDAY MORNING 10 AM
- TUESDSAY NIGHT 10 PM TO WEDNESDAY MORNING 10 AM
- WEDNESDAY NIGHT 10 PM TO THURSDAY MORNING 10 AM
- THURSDAY NIGHT 10 PM TO FRIDAY MORNING 10 AM
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Overnight Awake Staff in a Group Home setting. As an Overnight Awake Staff, you will play a crucial role in providing care and support to residents during the night. This is an important position that requires excellent communication skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Duties:
- Ensure the safety and well-being of residents throughout the night
- Monitor residents' behavior and provide behavior management as needed
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules
- Document any changes in residents' condition or behavior
- Respond promptly to any emergencies or incidents that may arise
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents
Requirements:
- Previous experience in assisted living, caregiving, or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of resident rights and regulations governing group homes
- Ability to effectively communicate with residents, their families, and other staff members
- Basic first aid skills and knowledge of emergency protocols
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
